Parable of the Treasure / Parábola del Tesoro

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure”. When we think about treasure, we think about gold, silver or some expensive material things. Some people are called treasure hunters. But in a sense, we are all treasure hunters in this world looking for God’s valuable blessings. We all have our own treasures, may not be gold, silver or material things but somehow we have things in our life that we valued most, they are real treasures for us, the things we spent most of the time with: family, children, grandchildren, work, home, health, faith and above all God. These are the things we valued but the most valuable treasure we have cant be bought by money in any store but inside our hearts, GOD. As the bible says, “where your treasure is, there your heart is also”.

Let us value God as the most important treasure we have, now and forever. Amen!

"El Reino de los Cielos es como un tesoro". Cuando pensamos en un tesoro, pensamos en oro, plata o algunas cosas materiales caras. Algunas personas se llaman buscadores de tesoros. Pero, en cierto sentido, todos somos buscadores de tesoros en este mundo, en busca de las valiosas bendiciones de Dios. Todos tenemos nuestros propios tesoros, puede que no sean oro, plata o cosas materiales pero de alguna manera tenemos cosas en nuestra vida que valoramos más, son verdaderos tesoros para nosotros, las cosas con las que pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo: la familia, los hijos, los nietos, el trabajo, el hogar, la salud, la fe y sobre todo Dios. Estas son las cosas que valoramos pero el tesoro mas valioso que tenemos no lo podemos comprar con dinero en ninguna tienda sino dentro de nuestros corazones, DIOS. Como dice la biblia, "donde esta tu tesoro, alli esta tambien tu corazon".

Valoremos a Dios como el tesoro más importante que tenemos, ahora y siempre. Amén.
